11/15: S&P Mars 72° Cycle

Mars cycles are one of the most reliable short to medium term CIT indicators, as seen in this post about the Nasdaq. This is my first analysis of Mars cycles on the S&P, and it looks to work equally well.

S&P Futures

November 15 is a geocentric 72° Mars cycle for the S&P, which could mark an important low.

Platy were there any significant harmonics around April top, May top and June low?

    Hello Platy,
so basically we should be looking for this date for a CIT?

    12/5/12: Mars 36° ??

the 72 mars nailed the bottom so you think 12/5/12 is going to be a high?
    Thanks

      November 22, 2012

Hi Simon, Yes 12/5 is an important CIT but first we have 11/23 (Nasdaq G Mars 36°) and also 12/1 (S&P Mars 18°). Unfortunately my methods don’t tell us in advance if a CIT will be a high or a low so we have to look at the direction we are headed into the dates, and we can also use Anthony and ZigZag’s methods to help us with direction. I will be making a new post soon!

      “…12/5 is an important CIT…”

…on or about December 5, 2012, may prove to be a very important Change-In-Trend!

platy, looking for the big picture, is possible you can drow the Jupiter-Mars Cycle since 7 march09 to now, pointing 12 or 17 agoust12 -I don´t know which is the correct-, and the last one 28 oct12- opp.Jupiter-Mars 72º.

Thanks a lot. Appreciate your work.

Aug 17 is the correct date. I’ll be out of town this week. If I get extra time I’ll work on it but it is busy holiday season here. Do you have some astrology software? There are many good free packages available.

22nd is the Thaksgiving day in US and is feast. Any other day?

platy, is no matter if you put it in the mid-term, but it would be so far complete.

        It´s meritorius your work.

Have nice days. Where are you from in the US? (if not indiscretion)

Hi platy, again, my replay has desappeared. Writing again:

I have been reviwing the dates and my fault was mixing NDX and SP500 Mars dates.

It´s courious that NDX Mars Dates goes better to all the US index than the Mars Dates for the SP500. Dou you know the reason?

Another thing is why in correlated markets, even more in US indexes, have different dates and the supremacy of the NDX dates.

The last question is why the 2nd of nov> Mars, jup, Sat Golden Tr 18 is not in the picture.

And the ultimate is that you wrote 7 dec12 next date, but i cant´find it in your dates for december in Nasdaq nor Sp500.

    Thanks for everything

Hi Apanalis, your reply showed up here: https://changeintrend.wordpress.com/2012/11/15/1115-sp-mars-72-cycle/snpmarscycles2years-2/

      My response repeated here:
Hi Apanalis, I haven’t spent that much time comparing the indexes, as I have been focused almost primarily on the Nasdaq until joining this site. Certainly the turn dates for Nasdaq can be used as a proxy for S&P and vice versa. The harmonics are strongly related because the S&P is a 30° counter-clockwise rotation of the Nasdaq. So that may be the reason why it works.

About Nov 2 Golden Triangle: That occurred at 18°, a minor harmonic. But it was at gold’s major 72° harmonic as I mentioned here: https://changeintrend.wordpress.com/2012/11/04/silver-1111-neptune-turns-direct/
Therefore it was more important to metals than it was to equities, and in fact was 1 day before the recent bottom.

I made a mistake in the comments below. The correct date is Dec 5, not Dec 7. Thank you for catching this!

Apanalis, THANK YOU for reviewing the graph! I will replace it with a corrected one. My comments are below.

      24feb12 Mars72? 3 mar12 Mars Earth72?
You are right, I put the arrow in the wrong place.

mid may12 Mars 72, there was no date
I have May 17. Can you please double check?

      30 may12 Mars72
      4-6 jun12 various cit. Mars
I don’t see anything for May 30 or 4-6 Jun.

12-17 Mars opp. Jupiter, ago12 no date as we know
I am plotting only Mars harmonics here, not aspects with other planets.

      17oct12 Mars 36?
I don’t see anything here. Maybe you are looking at Nasdaq harmonics?

Platy, what is the natal configuration (birth date) you are using for the S&P? Your G Mars 72 for 11/15 ties in very neatly with my 11/15 bottom projection based on the seasonal method using Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus (http://planetforecaster.blogspot.com/2012/02/224-mars-72-cycle.html).

      November 16, 2012

Hey there Anon, glad you came over. I hope others here take some time to read the comments in the post you linked above so that they can see your incredible work.

      I have March 4, 1957 for S&P natal.

        November 16, 2012

It doesn’t appear that you are using the natal position of Jupiter to fix the pentagram. What planet are you using to fix the pentagram? Is it Uranus?

        • platypusfoot
          November 16, 2012

Yes, Uranus. I know it doesn’t follow my usual rules. Neither does Nasdaq (from NYSE natal), which uses Saturn’s position.

      • Pal
        November 22, 2012

Wow, that was some great calls from Anon! Very inspiring. Thanks for pointing to the link:).

        • Anonymous
          November 24, 2012

The seasonal chart is based on the Dow Jones Industrial Average. If I use 07/03/1884 10:00 AM as the natal date and Saturn as the pentagram reference planet, on the recent 11/16/2012 bottom Heliocentric Mars was conjunct one of the pentagram vertices. A double bottom is projected for 1/10/2012. Heliocentric Mars will be in opposition to a pentagram vertex (H 36 degrees) on 1/12/2012. Also, on 1/10/2012, Geo Saturn is conjunct a vertex, Geo Uranus conjunct a second vertex, and Sun conjunct a third vertex. Geo Uranus (Retrograde) has been conjunct a vertex since 10/28/2012.

          • platypusfoot
            November 24, 2012

This is great, thanks Anon I will investigate your suggested natal date!

          • curiousmind
            November 24, 2012

I believe you mean 2013, right? When you said double bottom on Jan 10-12, 2013, you mean spx 1343 (Nov 16)? Do you think the market will not go lower than the Nov 16 low?

            • Anonymous
              November 25, 2012

Sorry! Yes, I meant 1/12/2013. The double bottom is for DJIA with respect to its first bottom on 11/16/2012.

          • platypusfoot
            November 25, 2012

So you are using geocentric Saturn for the pentagram. This is very interesting as it gives harmonics very close to the 18° harmonics I use for Nasdaq. This may be the explanation of why Mars 18° harmonics are important.

            • Anonymous
              November 25, 2012

No, Platy. I am using the heliocentric Saturn for the pentagram. However, my pentagram is dynamic in that sense it rotates with the movement of the Galactic Center with respect to the center’s natal position. GC hardly moves but taking the motion into account seems to give you better results. The GC moved by 1.79 degrees from the natal position to 11/16/2012. I have not historically analyzed DJIA with this pentagram.

              • platypusfoot
                November 25, 2012

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I have found it better not to rotate with the GC. Otherwise why does 1792 NYSE chart still work so well?

          • platypusfoot
            November 25, 2012

Also interesting, 12/15/1914 has heliocentric Jupiter at 36° to your harmonics and 10/1/1928 has both Uranus and Neptune at your 72° harmonics.

9/16/11 but it occurred at 18° harmonics for S&P/Silver/Gold/Dollar.

There are 5 important fixed points on the horoscope chart (marked by the yellow star). These are the 72° harmonics, and are unique to the S&P. The points half way between are 36° harmonics. I have marked each time Mars passes by one of those points, from both a sun-centered (heliocentric) and earth-centered (geocentric) orientation.
